Beat Racing
Live tracking for sailors.
Live race tracking, finish recording and post-race analysis for sailing clubs and individual sailors.
What you get
Everything you actually need.
Live tracking, every boat
Each competitor carries a phone running the sailor view, capturing GPS at a steady rate from start to finish. No special hardware, no setup beyond opening the app.
Built for the cockpit
Set up before the start, drop the phone where you can see it, and get on with sailing. The app tracks in the background so you don't have to think about it once the race is on.
Finish line, captured automatically
Each boat's finish is read straight from its own GPS track — no stopwatch, no pencil. Tap to mark crossings manually if you'd rather.
Replay and analysis
After the race, scrub through the timeline, see where boats made gains or lost ground, and compare tracks side-by-side. Useful for debriefs at the bar — and for sailors trying to learn from the day.
Who it's for
Built for the boats out there sailing.
Sailing clubs running weekly series racing — dinghies, keelboats, anything that crosses a start line.
And the sailors themselves, who want to see exactly what happened after the race — not just the result, but the route.
On the water
No new hardware. No extra friction.
Every boat carries a phone running the sailor view. Tracks sync back so results land in one place after the race.
It works offline — out on the water there's no guarantee of signal — and uploads in the background when the boats get back to the moorings.
Currently iOS, with race officer tools and the Android app next on the roadmap.
